Steven Larín is an immigration law attorney specializing in removal defense, asylum, and immigrant youth matters. He serves on the Steering Committee for Philadelphia’s Welcoming Network, collaborating with public and private partners to promote inclusive services and infrastructure for the immigrant community, including improved behavioral health programs. He also serves on the Stakeholder Advisory Committee for the Welcoming Caucus of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Steven has decades of nonprofit management experience, formerly working as the Deputy Director of Nationalities Service Center where he led the legal services department and developed programs for unaccompanied children and survivors of crime. He has also served as a commissioner of the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations and an Adjunct Professor for the Immigration Law Clinic at Temple University – Beasley School of Law and for the Political Science Department at La Salle University. A graduate of Swarthmore College and Loyola Law School – Los Angeles, he is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and California.
