Ashley Feuer-Edwards, MPA
Learning and Community Impact Consultant
Ashley Feuer-Edwards is the Founder and Principal of AFE Strategies, a consulting practice she started in 2017 to help nonprofit, philanthropic, and public sector clients in Philadelphia move their ideas to action with strategic program design and execution. Her practice areas include funding collaboratives and participatory funding models, strategic plans and resource development strategies, capacity building programs, and large scale events. Drawing on her passion for engaging and lifting up community voices, a core area of her current work involves directing the Kensington Community Resilience Fund, a community-led, participatory funding model focused on promoting wellness, building resilience, and improving the quality of life for residents most impacted by the ongoing opioid crisis in Philadelphia.
Prior to launching AFE Strategies, Ashley served as the Director of Programs and Strategic Partnerships with Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia, led various strategic planning and business development activities for JEVS Human Services, and served as a Project Manager and Business Development Manager for economic consulting firm Econsult Corporation. She currently serves on the boards of Pan American Academy Charter School in Eastern North Philadelphia and Ryan’s Case for Smiles.
Ashley holds a Master of Public Administration degree and Politics Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government and Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Advertising from Penn State University.
