Alyson Ferguson serves as Chief Operating Officer of the Scattergood Foundation, providing the operational leadership that enables the Foundation’s work to succeed. She oversees all organizational operations while managing key relationships with grantees, funders, consultants, and community partners. Alyson also helps lead several Foundation programs including Think Bigger Do Good and Building Better Systems, advises partner organizations, and provides technical assistance to strengthen the work of organizations across Greater Philadelphia.

Previously, Alyson managed the Alliance for Health Equity’s youth philanthropy program and held roles with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health and the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services. She completed the LeBow Leading for Change Fellowship and was recognized by Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter as an emerging public-sector leader. She is also a Grantmakers In Health Terrance Keenan Institute Fellow and was named one of Main Line Today’s Women on the Move.

Alyson holds a Master of Public Health from Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Behavior Science and Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware.
