The mission of Kensington Soccer Club (KSC) is to unite the broader Kensington community with soccer and youth development programs for all, regardless of ability to pay.
Kensington Soccer Club was funded to pay coaches and staff to continue after-school, recreational soccer, teen, summer, drop-in, and enrichment programs at schools, recreation centers, parks, community sites, and its clubhouse throughout Kensington.
Kensington Soccer Club was funded to pay coaches and staff for after-school, recreational, teen, summer, girls’ empowerment, park, and recreation-center programs, and to develop a mini-pitch at Conwell Middle School for school and community soccer.
Kensington Soccer Club was funded to hire an Intervention and Prevention Coordinator and a Community Engagement Specialist to expand inclusive soccer-based prevention, intervention, youth development, and connections to community services.
Kensington Soccer Club was funded to restore weekly and seasonal soccer at Heitzman Recreation Center, support a new mini-pitch, bring soccer to summer and after-school programs, and sustain a Community Engagement Coordinator who builds relationships and organizes neighborhood events.
