The mission of Kensington Neighbors United Civic Association, Inc. (KNUCA) is to provide an organization through which residents are united for the purpose of improvement of economic, education, government, and social conditions and consideration of community problems and concerns.
Kensington Neighbors United Civic Association was funded to continue the KEYS after-school program for Kensington youth and provide parents with workshops on trauma, mental health, and stress management.
Kensington Neighbors United Civic Association was funded to expand its KEYS Program to serve 25 additional Kensington youth and their families. The program provided weekly academic support, violence and drug prevention, cultural awareness, and trauma-informed stress management, while creating leadership opportunities and community-focused events for youth and parents.
