Juvenile Law Center's Youth Advocacy Program empowered young people with lived experience in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems to become leaders, advocates, and changemakers. Through leadership development, policy advocacy, storytelling, media engagement, and public education, participants built the skills and knowledge to influence policies affecting youth across Pennsylvania and beyond. The program elevated youth voices in efforts to improve foster care, expand access to education, prevent youth homelessness, and advance juvenile justice reform while ensuring that young people's experiences informed Juvenile Law Center's broader advocacy strategies.
