Children First was funded to advance Strong Minds, Bright Futures, a statewide initiative advocating for Medicaid reform and expanded access to early, culturally responsive mental health care for Pennsylvania’s children. Working with a coalition of more than 60 organizations, the initiative seeks to integrate preventive services into schools, pediatric offices, early learning centers, and community settings—particularly for children and youth affected by trauma, poverty, and systemic inequities.
