Angels in Motion (AIM) changes the way people struggling with substance use disorder, mental health challenges, and homelessness are treated, one life at a time. Founded in Philadelphia in 2015, the non-profit uses a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to meet individuals right where they are.
Angels In Motion was funded to distribute wound-care kits, help people access detox and treatment, provide transportation to treatment and recovery housing, cover short-term recovery-house rent, supply basic necessities, and offer peer support through treatment and post-treatment recovery.
Angels In Motion was funded to add peer recovery specialists and assessors, transport people to treatment and recovery housing, provide ongoing recovery support, and train weekly outreach volunteers in CPR, first aid, and wound care.
