Grantmaking

We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.

Participatory Funds

Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.

Special Grant Programs

We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.

Program Related Investments

We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

About Catherine Williams

Kate Williams, Esq. is the founder of Philanthropy Partner LLC, a firm that was formed to meet the unique and overlapping operational, strategic and legal needs of private foundations.  Kate's holistic approach is informed by the opportunities she has had to understand and support private foundations from the legal, operational, funder, and grantee perspectives.  Her firm's services are akin to those of an outsourced executive director/general counsel role, scaled and tailored to meet each foundation's needs.  Over the course of her career, Kate has supported and advised numerous nonprofit organizations on a wide range of issues, including affiliations, transactions, strategic initiatives, governance, and programmatic and operational matters.  Most recently, Kate served as in-house legal counsel for a complex national nonprofit provider in the areas of behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and autism services.  Kate has lived in the Philadelphia area for the majority of her life, currently residing in Wyndmoor with her husband and two daughters.
