Caitlin Butler is an independent consultant and coach dedicated to helping build communities where all people can thrive. Since launching her business in 2020, Caitlin has helped more than 50 nonprofits clarify their visions and strategies and build effective fundraising approaches. She works in cities across the U.S. with clients advancing youth development, community and economic development, public health, environmental justice, and criminal justice reform. Prior to forming her business, Caitlin served as director of development and later chief strategy officer for Mural Arts Philadelphia. Over a six-year period, she played a central role in charting and resourcing the organization’s growth from $7.5M to $12M. Caitlin has a BA in Sociology from Swarthmore College and an MA in Arts Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University, where she was a Graduate Fellow. In addition to the board of the Scattergood Foundation, she serves on the board development committee for RAIR.
