About Caitlin Butler, MA

Caitlin Butler is an independent consultant and coach dedicated to helping build communities where all people can thrive. She focuses her practice on supporting community-driven organizations and practitioners navigating periods of change. She blends skills in research methods and facilitation with her deep knowledge of the field to help clients clarify how to move forward. Prior to forming her business in 2020, she served as chief strategy officer for Mural Arts Philadelphia. Over a six-year period, she played a central role charting and resourcing the organization’s growth from a $7.5M to an $12M operation. Over the past two decades, Caitlin has collaborated with more than 50 organizations in staff, board, consultant, teaching, coaching, and artist roles. Caitlin has a BA in Sociology from Swarthmore College and an MA in Arts Policy & Administration from The Ohio State University, where she was a Graduate Fellow.
