We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

Uniting for the USA is designed as a holistic, supportive program that aids newcomers through acclimating to life in the US.
New World Association’s “Uniting for the USA” program is designed to help immigrants and refugees improve their English language skills and become aware of their rights and responsibilities. Program participants will be prepared for the importance of being ready for changes, committed to developing new skills, setting goals and taking actions to improve the lives of themselves and their families. The program participants will receive psychological and emotional support to help them build coping skills, find purpose in their new country, build their belief in their abilities, grow social networks – including digital ones – and develop a sense of belonging in America.
They will also be supported in accessing public benefits and assisted with applications for SNAP and Medical Assistance, and preparing immigration related documents. The program participants will be provided with the opportunities to share their cultural and personal values and life experiences while participating in the cultural and holiday events at the agency. They will be invited to participate in the project “I Am From” to collect stories and illustrational materials about their countries of origin.
