RISE Partnership

The RISE Partnership (Readiness, Implementation, and Sustainability for Effectiveness) was a multi-year learning initiative that supported nonprofit organizations across Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey in strengthening their effectiveness and improving outcomes for the communities they serve. Completed in 2023, the partnership provided training, coaching, technical assistance, and peer learning opportunities to help organizations build their capacity to measure, understand, and use data to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.

Through its Readiness, Implementation, and Sustainability components, RISE supported organizations at different stages of evaluation and performance management practice — from introductory learning to intensive capacity building and long-term peer collaboration. The initiative helped participating organizations sharpen program strategies, strengthen internal learning systems, and build lasting approaches to data-informed leadership and impact. The lessons and relationships developed through RISE continue to influence nonprofit capacity-building efforts and collaborative learning across the region today.
