We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

Our goal is to work for the healing of our hearts, the healing of our streets, and the healing of our world. We are aspiring to build a neighborhood, and a City, that we are "proud to call home." This particular project is about creating a way for neighbors to channel their pain into change, by turning guns into garden tools and art.

This grant will be used directly for our current programming needs and operational costs, allowing us to expand our current work and build up our capacity to do more of what we are already doing.
Supplies and materials include things like propane to operate our forge and furnace, canvases and wood backdrops needed for art made from guns, and basic supplies such as tools and equipment to transform guns. All of the guns we decommission and transform are donated (for free) so we are just supplementing the other things needed to convert the guns.
