We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

With funds awarded from the Overdose Prevention and Community Healing Fund, Anti-Drug & Alcohol Crusaders will enhance our existing program on various levels.
With funds awarded from the Overdose Prevention and Community Healing Fund, Anti-Drug & Alcohol Crusaders will enhance our existing program on various levels. For one, through our Philly Youth Making Positive Choices program, which provides evidence-based prevention education to youth, we will serve additional classes within our partnered schools; provide services to additional schools, churches, and community-based organizations; and facilitate smaller groups within these settings when needed, as many youth are in need of more individualized support than we are currently able to provide. We will implement our existing evidence-based curricula while adding others for smaller groups, namely The Girls Circle and The Council for Boys and Young Men, to reduce depression, anxiety, substance misuse, and antisocial behaviors in youth. Additionally, the program will incorporate alternative activities to educate youth on the risks of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use in a fun, engaging manner, a proven prevention method we have employed for over 35 years. Prevention Specialists will also engage youth in social-emotional learning games, conversation topics, and social norms messaging projects. Furthermore, enhancements to our existing programming will provide greater opportunity to reach participants’ parents/guardians, who can benefit from our Parent & Family Support Services, a voluntary program that provides Philadelphia families with parent training, advocacy, resources, and referrals as needed.
