We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

PARENT POWER is an existing program that will implement The PLAN (Parent Leaders’ Advisory Network) and conduct train-the-trainer workshops for family members who live and/or enroll Pre-K to 12th grade students in schools located in the 19132 and/or 19140 zip codes.
PARENT POWER is an existing program that will implement The PLAN (Parent Leaders’ Advisory Network) and conduct train-the-trainer workshops for family members who live and/or enroll Pre-K to 12th grade students in schools located in the 19132 and/or 19140 zip codes. The PLAN is innovative because it is parent-led and designed to help parents/caregivers who are active in their child’s early care center and/or school to identify their assets and develop personal and professional skills. The program, which empowers community residents to become parent/community leaders, provides real opportunities for neighborhood residents to participate in the design and delivery of school and early childcare center services. PARENT POWER will effectively partner with school and district administrators; facilitate fun-filled, interactive workshops; sponsor experiential, family outings; and invite parents/caregivers to join School Advisory Councils (SACs), Philadelphia Head Start’s Policy Council, and/or an organized parent group to help prevent crime and violence within our North Philadelphia community by rebuilding the village that cares for its children.
