We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

This funding will support the cost of Kensington Voice's rent and utilities so we can provide on-site programming through Miss Awilda's Media Learning Lab and the Youth Voices after-school and summer programs in our 1,800-square-foot studio space at 3237 Amber Street.
This funding will support the cost of Kensington Voice’s rent and utilities so we can provide on-site programming through Miss Awilda’s Media Learning Lab and the Youth Voices after-school and summer programs in our 1,800-square-foot studio space at 3237 Amber Street (19134). By covering rent costs, it will also directly support Kensington Voice’s newsroom so we can continue to distribute news stories, personal essays, and information about resources in English, Spanish, online, and in print at 25+ partner locations in the 19134, 19133, 19125, and 19122 ZIP codes. Pairing these direct services with journalism, will improve the quality of life in Kensington by interrupting harmful social determinants that negatively impact the communities we serve.
