We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

Via our GrandFamily Resource Center (GFRC), Connectedly will provide support and promote healing for grandparent-headed families in Philadelphia affected by the opioid crisis.
In Philadelphia, over 17,000 grandparents have stepped forward to care for grandchildren when parents are unable. Grandfamilies affected by substance use disorders face a range of unique social, financial, physical and mental health challenges. Via our GrandFamily Resource Center (GFRC), Connectedly will provide support and promote healing for grandparent-headed families in Philadelphia affected by the opioid crisis. Our work will build social connection for grandparents raising grandchildren so they are not alone, and enhance their resiliency and abilities to provide stable, loving homes for their grandchildren. Our peer support group model and knowledge-sharing will build grandparents’ confidence, resiliency, and parenting skills. Grandparents will learn about healing, trauma-informed care, and supportive resources in order to reduce negative impacts and promote healthy lives for their grandchildren. Connectedly’s services are located in convenient neighborhood locations easily accessible for seniors/grandparents. Our support groups are held in an array of settings including senior centers, local health centers, elderly apartments, community centers, and neighborhood schools. Connectedly is one of the only organizations locally, and nationally, providing a full array of services to support grandfamilies. Our GFRC provides a “one-stop shop” to meet the emotional healing, mental health, wellness, and educational needs of grandfamilies in Philadelphia.
