We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

New Sanctuary Movement's Accompaniment and Immigrant Leadership Development Programs support immigrants of color to meet their holistic needs while creating systems of healing, resiliency, and resistance.
New Sanctuary Movement’s Accompaniment and Immigrant Leadership Development Programs support immigrants of color to meet their holistic needs while creating systems of healing, resiliency, and resistance.
NSM’s Accompaniment Program recognizes that immigrants of color face interlocking systems of oppression and require an antiracist casework model that is culturally sensitive, all-encompassing, and empowers immigrants to collectively fight for their families. NSM helps people deal with domestic violence, seek wellness resources, deal with exploitative employers, prevent eviction, and accompanies people to asylum, family, criminal, and housing court. Their team of multilingual and immigrant staff allow those seeking support to recognize that it is not an individual problem they face but a collective struggle.
NSM’s Immigrant Leadership Development Program fosters immigrant leadership development through skills-training, political education and personal coaching; creates space for immigrants of color from diverse communities to build camaraderie and confront internalized oppression; and empowers participants to become actively involved in campaign committees, action groups and coalitions. Programming supports immigrant leaders to find their voice while building community, access collective wisdom about healing, hope, and resiliency, and allows participants to affirm their humanity by joining a community of immigrant leaders fighting for systemic changes.
