Movement of Immigrant Leaders in PA

The Movement of Immigrant Leaders in Pennsylvania (MILPA) is a network of families who fight for the dignity and human rights of every person, regardless of immigration status. They facilitate the education, organization and participation of communities for the defense and promotion of constitutional rights so that communities can work to create the political, social and economic changes in which every human being is treated with equality and rights.

MILPA received support for its Wellness and Leadership Program, which integrated restorative justice and wellness education into leadership development training for immigrant community organizers. Through workshops, retreats, curriculum development, and resource creation, participants explored trauma healing, stress management, and collective care practices while building leadership skills rooted in cultural authenticity and community resilience.
