The mission of Mercy Neighborhood Ministries is to respond in a spirit of Mercy to the needs of the underserved in community. They improve the quality of life for neighbors by establishing a strong academic and economic foundation for future success.
Mercy Neighborhood Ministries was funded to expand A Path to Prosperity by hiring an instructor, strengthening employer liaison, employee advocacy and case management, and providing paid job-readiness training to 100 participants addressing poverty, addiction, and violence in North Philadelphia.
Mercy Neighborhood Ministries was funded to expand A Path to Prosperity, a paid job-readiness program providing North Philadelphia residents with soft-skills training, résumé and interview preparation, certifications, and pathways to employment to address poverty, violence, and opioid-related harms.
