Eluna was funded to pilot an expansion of Camp Mariposa for children, teens, and families grieving the death of a close family member from an overdose or substance use disorder. Through free day and overnight camps, the program combines traditional camp activities, expressive arts, cooperative play, education, and trauma-informed support to promote healing while developing a model that can be replicated to serve more Philadelphia families.
