The mission of CADEkids is to promote children’s potential for growth through comprehensive school and community-based youth development and support programs. They begin these programs at an early age, with the goal of encouraging positive choices while reducing high-risk behaviors.
CADEkids was funded to partner with the Community Center at Visitation and other organizations to provide out-of-school-time prevention education that helps students build protective skills, make positive decisions, and avoid substance misuse.
CADEkids was funded to expand school-based prevention programming into summer and after-school settings, strengthen students’ social-emotional resilience, deliver violence and substance misuse prevention curricula, and train staff in trauma-informed youth development.
