AIDS Care Group

ACG works for and within populations adversely affected by stigma, poor access to care, discrimination, and poverty. They are dedicated to using resources to provide comprehensive and compassionate clinical care and social services to persons living with leading public health conditions including, but not limited to, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis C, mental illness, and opioid use disorders.

AIDS Care Group was funded to expand harm reduction services through its food distribution hub in Sharon Hill, which serves communities experiencing high rates of overdose. Two community health workers with lived experience will assemble and distribute harm reduction kits and resource brochures at the food pantry and through mobile food deliveries across Delaware County. This work builds on the organization’s commitment to providing compassionate, accessible care to people affected by stigma, poverty, and barriers to care.
