ACLAMO received support to expand its Health and Wellness program, which increased access to health insurance enrollment, benefits navigation, care coordination, and culturally responsive health support for Latino immigrant families. Through individual services, peer support groups, yoga and wellness programming, and educational workshops focused on self-care, nutrition, and financial wellbeing, ACLAMO helped reduce stress, isolation, and barriers to care for women, youth, and low-income community members. Funding also strengthened ACLAMO’s role as a cultural broker and advocate working to improve healthcare access and advance policies supporting immigrant health and wellness.
