We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

The Foundation believes to advance the behavioral health system, we must play a critical role as a disseminator. We are committed to sharing research, policy recommendations, best practices, and lessons from our grantees and partners. We believe there is significant value in raising awareness of existing work to help educate and activate others at the local, state, and national levels.
Each day throughout the month of October, we will be sharing on Twitter a resource that we use and believe needs be further shared. We ask that you participate by retweeting, liking, and spreading the resources to individuals, organizations and communities that may find them helpful. Make sure to follow us on Twitter @ScattergoodFdn and #Disseminate!
