The Philadelphia Foundation is a co-investor in The RISE Partnership and the Nonprofit Repositioning Fund.
The Philadelphia Foundation also provides specialized administrative services to the Foundation. The services include:
- Investment of Scattergood’s more than $20 million in assets
- Budgeting and accounting including an independent audit
- Benefit management and human resources
- General back office services.
The partnership streamlines Scattergood’s day-to-day administrative and investment management responsibilities, while allowing the board to retain control over distribution of its own targeted grants and the programming that addresses pressing behavioral health needs in innovative ways.
