We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

Our project is cleaning/beautifying Kensington, addressing issues through direct action together.
Our project is cleaning/beautifying Kensington (scope: G – F Streets, Hilton – Thayer), addressing issues through direct action together (rebrand.ly/kleankenzo). While Kensington’s known for poverty, drugs, crime, our local projects enable grassroots change magnifying our community’s voice. Many existing local efforts focus on public health/harm-reduction for transient residents. Meanwhile, neighbors feel besieged in our own neighborhood by powerful forces of a nationwide crisis. Loneliness exacerbates mental health challenges. By together targeting trash-alleviation, beautification, and greening projects, we’re galvanizing a groundswell of hope for a healthier, cooperative, connected future.
